Derek Lunsford & Fabricio Moreira In a preparation twist for the 2023 Mr. Olympia

In a preparation twist for the 2023 Mr. Olympia, Fabricio Moreira, the esteemed 212 Tampa Pro champion, along with Derek Lunsford's training partner, embarked on a ferocious training regime, precisely 12 weeks ahead of the renowned bodybuilding competition.

The two muscle enthusiasts shared their journey to Olympia in an informational yet engaging video shared online. The popular Brazil-born athlete has recently won Tampa Pro, the very competition that his companion won back in 2017, leading to his debut in Mr. Olympia.

The video captures Moreira's & Derek Lunsford last workout in his current location before he departs for Brazil. Starting with some incandescent energy derived from pre-workout amino, the workout plan entailed a rigorous focus on chest training.

The training partners began with some arduous incline press workouts. Their excitement was tangible as they talked about seeing each other again at this year's Olympia; a testament to the camaraderie that transcends the competition's inherent rivalry. Both partners commended each other's efforts in keeping the 212 division vibrant and challenging.

Despite facing considerable hardship this year, Moreira stressed the importance of putting God first as it brought transformative changes in his life and career.

The structured chest workout emphasized strength building, incorporating free weights earlier in the training session, followed by machines and cables towards the end. Carefully controlled reps and weight stimulations characterized the entire workout routine.

Moreira's training partner detailed his rigorous six-day training streak with three consecutive days spent with 'honey', fielding biceps, calves, and hamstrings. Abs and cardio were also tackled this morning. The seventh day was agreed to be a rest day, following advice from over the weekend’s sermon about taking rest days critically.

The dynamic duo's chest-focused workout featured a progressive warm-up with reps done in super slow motion for enhanced control and maximum squeeze on the chest muscles. As the weights increased, their movements shifted to a faster tempo.

Despite being 20 weeks out from Mr. Olympia, Moreira exhibited an impressive prostration captivating his contenders and predicting an exciting competition. His super-defined chest muscles showed signs of peak conditioning, crediting his meticulous training approach that included stringent dietary practices.

After a grueling session marked by persistence and camaraderie, both athletes looked forward to post-Olympia celebrations involving their favorite foods – sushi and Persian cuisine – indicating even champions enjoy indulgence every once in a while.

As anticipation builds up for the 2023 Mr. Olympia, it is clear both Moreira and his esteemed companion are leaving no stone unturned in their quest for glory.
