Although it took him more than five years, Cutler finally achieved his goal in 2006 by dethroning the King. The saying "better late than never" definitely applies here. 

Cutler, who is known for his modesty, insists that he did not defeat Coleman at his peak performance. He contends that neither of them was at their best that night, but he was simply in better shape than Coleman.
